988(US) can be called, texted, or chatted with. It has sections for veterans and LGBTQ+ people
The Trevor Project can be called, texted, or chatted with. It is designed for LGBTQ+ youth.
The crisis textline can be reached through text, chat, and whatsapp.
COPING EXERCISES
Box breathing is where you breathe in for four seconds, hold your breath for four seconds, and let out for four seconds.
Here are a bunch of grounding techniques. My personal favorite is the 5-4-3-2-1 technique, where you point out 5 things you can hear, 4 things you can see, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.
